The Los Angeles Lakers have a very storied past, starting in Minnesota as the Minneapolis Lakers and moving to LA in 1960. They have won 16 NBA Championships, making them second to their rival the Boston Celtics. They have 9 retired numbers currently, but will have 11 soon as both of Kobe Bryant's numbers get retired. The 1970-1971 Lakers hold the longest NBA winning streak at 33 games. The Lakers have had 21 Hall of Famers play, as well as 4 Hall of Fame coaches.
